Turbinado SugarMolassesSucrose: Sucrose if commonly derived from both beets and sugar cane. Sugar (sucrose) is a carbohydrate that occurs naturally in every fruit and vegetable. It is a major product of photosynthesis, the process by which plants transform the sun’s energy into food. This sugar is commonly known as table sugar or just regular plain sugar. Molasses: When sugar is refined it is purified and the resulting minerals purified out are known as molasses. Our Molasses Powder is 75% Molasses and can be used as a direct replacement for liquid molasses. Order Molasses

Brown Sugar: Brown sugar is regular plain sugar with molasses added to it. Dark brown sugar would have more molasses than light brown. If you ever have a recipe for brown sugar and you are out just use white sugar and add a little molasses.

FructoseHoney PowderFructose: Is commonly known as fruit sugar due to it being naturally found in fruits. Fructose breaks down very readily in the body giving a person a very quick energy high. Fructose is commonly derived from corn. Additional Information . Order Fructose

LactoseDextroseLactose: Lactose sugar is derived from Milk and is only mildly sweet. Powdered milk is around 50% Lactose. Order Lactose

Corn Syrup: The starch from corn is converted into sugar (mainly fructose) and is then termed corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup.

Dextrose: When Sucrose is broken down it is split into Dextrose and Fructose. Fructose is around 25% sweeter than sucrose and sucrose is around 25% sweeter than dextrose. Supermarkets now carry sugar which is a blend of dextrose and sucrose. If you notice your baking to not taste quite as sweet as it did years ago this may be why.
