1. Look for where you can change the settings options for signatures. 

If a file is needed follow the directions for Netscape at the top.

If a box needs to be filled follow any of the other above directions.

Netscape® 

1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences,  click the + sign in front of Mail & Newsgroups heading, and then click Identity.

OR 1. On the Tasks menu, click Mail, On the Edit menu, click Mail/News Account Settings.  Check box for Attach this Signature. 

2. In the Signature file: box add the file name.

 C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\signature.txt

Click the OK button.

3. Open Notepad (Start-Programs-Accessories-Notepad) and make a file containing the text in Item 4 below (or write your own) then  save the file as (File-Save As) filename signature.txt on your Desktop (Click up arrow once).
