Heat Sensitive's

Most items are not heat sensitive and can ship anytime.

  • Typically it's above 80°F / 26°C during June, July and August in the US.
  • Southern States are also typically above 80°F during May and September.
  • Southern States: Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Southern California.
  • No 70°F heat sensitive items to southern states during June, July, and August except by refrigerated LTL.


Heat sensitive's that need heat protection

over 70°F (21°C)

Chocolate Pretzels (not pretzel balls), Creme Drops, Fudge Meltaways, Lindt Truffles, Milky Way Mini's, and Yogurt covered Pretzels.


over 80°F (26°C)

All items containing Chocolates, Yogurt, and Carob.
Baking Drops, Haystacks, Mercken Wafers, and Smooth and Melty Mints.

Unwrapped Cases: Lemon Drops, Horehound, and Cinnamon Balls.


over 90°F (32°C)

Candy Corn, Cherry Sours, Cinnamon Imperials, Date Rolls, Gummy Rings, Jelly Beans (not Jelly Belly jelly beans), Medjool Dates, and Reese's pieces.
