Cashews are formed inside a very hard shell on the bottoms of very delicate yellow fruits. Nutritional Information
They are heated over fires to crack the shells in order to hull the nuts by hand. This results in some of the cashews being scorched. These are known as second or third quality cashews.
Scorched cashews when roasted tend to get hard and roast unevenly.

Gourmet Roasted Whole Cashews come both with and without salt. All cashews are roasted in non hydrogenated peanut oil for the best taste, nutrition and keeping qualities. We select only the top quality Large White Pieces for roasting.
Raw Whole Cashews are eaten as is by some people although most people prefer them roasted. Raw cashews can be dry roasted in a shallow pan in the oven until light brown. Our Large White Cashew Pieces are the largest and crispest available.
