Fructose

Fructose is the most common type of sugar in natural fruit. So common in fact that it is also sometimes referred to as fruit sugar. 

Fructose breaks down very readily in the body giving a person a very quick energy high. Fructose is commonly derived from corn. Fructose sugar is commonly called crystalline fructose.

Fructose is around 25% sweeter than sucrose which is regular table sugar.
